I did it...I entered a contest - something I almost NEVER do. I found out that Southwest was having a songwriting contest for musicians asking them to write a song to help celebrate their 41st anniversary. There were hundreds and hundreds of entrants..and I just found out I'm one of FIVE FINALISTS!!!!!
They are deciding the winner by how many views, likes and comments their video gets. If you could take 2 minutes and 4 seconds of your time to watch my video and do all of the above and then SHARE, you could help me win. The prize is getting to fly on one of their planes on June 18th and perform a surprise concert for the passengers! The cool part is, they may include the performance in an episode of their new TV series "On the Fly" on TLC! So please, comment nicely and let friends know.

Thanks to many of you, the pledgemusic campaign is gaining momentum! There are several exclusives that are going to expire this week because we're finalizing the artwork and getting the CD mastered. If you wanted to: get credit on the CD, sponsor a song, or anything else that would be printed on the artwork, you need to make your pledge by Thursday, 5/31.
